Donations
If patrons ask about the library taking donations, here are our guidelines.
We DO take donations, as long as they are:
- Clean
- Not musty or moldy
- No magazines.
- No encylopedias
- No textbooks
- Must be in a bag/box/ or container that the library can keep.
We will no longer accept books that are loose in trunks, backseats and truck beds. They need to be in some sort of bag or box.
We will no longer transfer the items from their container or bag they want to keep.
If a patron comes in with them loose or in a bag or box they want to keep, the library has plenty of plastic grocery bags we can give to the patron to let them repack them and bring them into the library in.
Now, with all that said, there will always be the patron, who has physical disabilities that we will go out of our way to help even if they do not meet the above guidelines for donations.
