Renewing patron cards from SLC

Hello,
I have received requests to again ask you to remind your staff to NOT send patrons back to their home library if they have a home library card that is up for renewal (unless for special circumstances). Any SLC shared system library can renew a patron's card at their library if the patron has his/her home library card. If your staff member has any questions about this, they should call the home library before sending the patron to their home library unnecessarily. Thank you!
