Telemarketers and cell phones

I got another one of those panic-driven emails today. It claims that at a certain date, telemarketers will be able to call your cell phone and you'll have to pay for the call.
NOT TRUE
According to www.snopes.com (again), that's based on a misunderstanding. A few telephone companies have offered a directory service for cell phone users. The difference between that offer and the panic is that a person MUST contact the phone company and request to be listed. If you don't "opt-in" you won't be listed.
