PAC's and PINS

Effective August 25th patrons will need to know both their library card number and PIN number to log onto the internet.

Signs will be posted in advance warning our regular patrons of this, so they can show their library card to circ and get their number if they do not know it already.

ALSO, RSV is already doing this and when they have to Ban a patron from internet use, how they are doing it is by putting the word BARRED into the PIN field in the Sirsi patron record.

IF you see this, Leave it alone and do NOT tell the patron that is what is in the PIN field. Just tell them they need to call RSV.
