PAC use monitoring

Please do not delete the bookmarks from the Ref 2 computer that say "Keep at Top." These are the links for VNC Viewer which allow us to monitor internet use. You just click the computer number which needs to be monitored and type in the override password. VNC Viewer will then show you what is being currently displayed on the patron's computer. If it is inappropriate, you can then send the patron a message using PC Reservation saying something like "The images you are viewing are inappropriate for a public library setting. Please exit, or your session will be terminated." If the patron does not exit, you can then use PC Reservation to end the patron's session on the PAC.

The links for VNC Viewer were on Ref 2 before and were somehow deleted. Please leave them at the top of the favorites list where they are. This is an important tool for us to monitor our PC's in a non confrontational manner.
