Are You Seeing Spots???!!

In order to better identify our collection, we have now placed different colored sticker dots on the endcap signs of various sections. For example, adult fiction signs have green dots, nonfiction have red dots, etc. We're hoping this enables us to give easier directions to our patrons and make our materials easier to locate. A "color chart" will be kept at the reference desk to assist staff in communicating with patrons.

There are also new signs on the public computers to help identify which computers are for catalog use, internet use, etc. Of course all the internet computers ALSO have library catalog access, but the signs are just to simplify things for patrons and to aid us in communicating.

A big THANKS to Lynn for doing this - all at a pesky librarian's request! :-)
