Audio Changes

Audio Changes

1. The ten Spanish audiobook titles (books recorded in Spanish) we own are now shelved
at the beginning of the adult audio cassettes. They had been interfiled with the other
cassettes, but were not very visible and weren’t circulating well. The location in
workflows is still listed as Audio, but there is a designation of “Spanish” after the call
number.

If you want to see a list of the titles we own, do a General search using the words
“Spanish audios”. This search will pull up the ten adult titles, along with six juvenile
cassette kits, which are recorded in Spanish.

2. In an attempt to (further) confuse staff and patrons, the audiobook CD’s have now
been moved to the back row of the audio section!

3. The YA audio’s are being interfiled with the Adult audio’s and will no longer be in
the YA section. This is due to lack of YA shelf space and the fact they were not
circulating as well as before.
