TPL ebooks on NetLibrary

Please be aware that TPL has purchased it’s own copies of ebooks through
NetLibrary.

These ebooks are in the catalog just like the ones purchased through the state of
Michigan. The only difference is they shown as owned by TPL and not MCL.
The copies owned by TPL are only available at the TPL library or by TPL
patron’s. Only the copies owned by MCL are accessible here or by our patron’s
at home.

· When placing holds for patrons please be very careful/specific of what you tell
them. We have had several patron’s coming in looking for their holds and
complaining "Well, they told me it would be here in 3-4 days and it’s been 4
days!" (or something to that effect).

· A reminder to remember to be VERY careful when typing in the override
password for anything. (renewing, placing holds, etc.).
